
20 Steps to becoming a Reggae Road Tripper
Step 1: Head to the Reggae Road Trip website www.reggaeroadtrip.com and see what it's all about. Make sure to check out the Reggae Road Trip gallery to watch actual RRT endorsements by just a few of the iconic talent that will be involved. While you are doing your social media browsing you can also follow Reggae Road Trip social media platforms via any of our social media platforms, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter (X) & Tiktok.
Step 2: Once on the RRT website dive into all the stellar details there is to find out about this experience. Please feel free to contact us via any one of the RRT Contact links with any questions you may have, we are so excited for your interest!
Step 3: When your ready to initiate, just simply fill out the RRT application and someone will get back to you within 2 business days.
Step 4: Once you've received answers to your questions from an RRT team member, you'll be directed back to the RRT website to click “Book Now.” From there, book your experience, start your payment plan, and you’re all set! At that point, you’ll officially become a proud Reggae Tripper.
Step 5: After your down payment is received you will be added to the RRT WhatsApp chat group. The chat will connect you with other “Reggae Trippers. In addition the RRT team will be on the chat posting trip tips plus more vital information to help make your experience planning successful. You will also be able to voice questions and more on the chat.
Step 6: Begin planning for your RRT experience by making sure that all your travel documents are in order before you book your flight. Then book your flight based on your confined RRT reservation dates.
Step 7: Don't forget to get time off of work or any commitments during the scheduled RRT dates. Arrange things like babysitting, pet sitting, house sitting.
Step 8: When it's time for your RRT experience dates to take place, get on that plane and get to the RRT destination country.
Step 9: Upon arrival you will be escorted by members of the RRT team to a luxurious air-conditioned transport vehicle and taken to the RRT site resort.
Step 10: Day one (Thursday) - upon checking in you will find an RRT dossier in your room. The dossier will contain the itinerary plus fun things to do and places to go in your spare time for both on and off the resort. Feel free to relax and/or enjoy all the amenities the resort has to offer. You are there to have fun so do you. Make the best of your time by sightseeing, going to the beach, visiting family or friends (if applicable). The dossier will also include RRT protocols, safety and security measures. The contents of the dossier will be sent to you virtually as well.
Step 11: Later that night there will be a brief RRT meeting with all attendees. You will get to meet the other participants and RRT Ambassadors, discuss the next few days, ask questions and basically just check in with the team to make sure everything is ok. Later that night you have the option of hanging out with the RRT team at the local hotspot, “Rub-a-Dud Thursday” which features vinyl selectors.
Step 12: Day two (Friday) - After enjoying your complimentary breakfast, all Reggae Trippers will get an early start by loading into the RRT bus and proceed to a fun filled day of activities. It will be a day of immersive sightseeing and vinyl-record sourcing: visits to Bob Marley Museum, Tuff Gong Studios, Studio One, and more. There will be an evening hangout at the great musician Earl “Chinna” Smith’s home-courtyard aka “Inna Di Yard”—a classic Reggae hangout filled with legends and jukebox vinyl vibes. From there, VIP party access to other happenings continues into the night.
Step 13: All the Reggae Trippers' that participate in the overnight festivities will return to the resort to rest up for the next day.
Step 14: Day three (Saturday) - Reggae Trippers' will have another early start by loading into the bus for an exciting Reggae celebrity home sightseeing tour.
Step 15: After the exciting tour Reggae Trippers' will be returned to the resort to rest up and/or get ready for the highlight of the adventure, the RRT symposium/meet and greet mixer.
Step 16: Reggae Trippers' will attend the symposium/meet and greet mixer in the resort conference room. At the mixer there will be photo-opps, autograph signings,and so much more. The symposium portion of the event will commence with the 12 honorable guests forming a panel where they will share stories and answer your questions. Reggae Trippers' will experience memories to last a lifetime.
Step 17: Reggae Trippers' will experience an after party with vegan/non-vegan food options, drinks and entertainment by local Sound Systems. After the event Reggae Trippers' have the option to once again go off-site with RRT team to a local Reggae music jam. Guests will enjoy VIP treatment and receive shout-outs by the DJ. Reggae Trippers' will also be fascinated by the definite Reggae celebrity sightings who tend to party at the same hotspot jam.
Step 18: Day 4 (Sunday) - Final morning, guests will be served a Rastafarian style feast at the legendary House of Dread, a historic vegan café and gift shop. The restaurant is located next to the famed Alpha Boys School soccer field where icons masters like Peter Tosh and Bob Marley once played football during their early school days. Guests learn about Sister Ignatius Davies, whose school music program inspired generations of Reggae stars that attended the institution. There may be an opportunity to experience more activities until it's time to head to the airport.
Step 19: Reggae Trippers' will have options to extend their stay as well as have customized experiences that aren't included in the general Reggae Road Trip group experience package. (You can add -on these experiences via the website, prior to your trip).
Step 20: As a Reggae Tripper you will return home safely and leave a review on the Reggae Road Trip Google page for all to know what a great experience was enjoyed.

Once you decide and we are sure you will, simply just sign up, and place a deposit and become an official Reggae Tripper. The process then begins of our RRT team keeping you in the fold for preparation of your upcoming RRT experience. The team will email you detailed instructions of what your next steps should be as well as tips to prepare for your experience. We know that international travel plans and can be daunting. However, you will receive all the necessary paperwork to protect your experience investment as well as a confirmation number that you should use whenever reaching out to our staff.
